Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)
Where do we find our strength? In the Lord, our God!
Because He Chooses Us
But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham, my friend. Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing, and they that strive with thee shall perish.
During this time of trouble, as we are experiencing in this pandemic, sourcing our strength is vital and, most importantly, critical to our spiritual wellbeing. In this passage of Isaiah, the seed of Abraham was encouraged with the distinction of being chosen by God. He says 'fear not, for He is with us and He will strengthen us.' Nonbelievers are pretentious; they feel a need to disprove everything believers hold true. Fortify your strength because He chooses us, John 15:16.
Elohenu Olam, Our Everlasting God - Psalm 48:14; how blessed is Your Name, and we thank You. Passionately, we humble ourselves to praise You for the source of strength. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who call on the Name of the Lord for salvation, so that; we who believe in Him by the edifying of the preacher. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
